My experience of English learning

“English is an important language that you must master very well. Otherwise, you can not live a splendid life.” Who said that? My English teacher who teached me in the junior high school.

I have learned English for six years .When I began to learn English ,I didn’t like it at all .Different with Chinese in many aspects ,English is difficult to learn at first .Thought I am aware of the importance of learning English well ,I am quite afraid of English .At that time ,my English is poor .

Seeing my problem in learning English, my teacher gave me the right guidance, which took me out of the dilemma .she said that to learn English well ,you should speak it as much as you can ,and the more you used English ,the more you liked it .I followed her advice .Every morning ,I opened my English book ,reading English loudly .And I answered questions in class actively. As time went by, a gratifying result appeared that I made marked progress in English learning.

However, after stepping into the high middle school, I dropped the good English-learning habit for many reasons .I just did my homework, just did what our teacher asked to do instead of learning English myself with enthusiasm.

Now in Tsinghua University, compared with other students, my English is not good. I will try my best, though. It is important for me to pick up the former good habit. Confident now, I think I can learn English well.
