The Best University in My Dream

     As someone says “It will be a lifelong regret if you don’t visit Harvard University during your stay in the United States.”, there is no denying that Harvard University is one of the best universities in the world. Just like every student around the world, I have a dream of being a Harvard man.

     Harvard University has a long history. Established in 1636 by vote of the Great and General Court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, Harvard University is the oldest university in the United States. Since it was founded, Harvard has focused itself on education-developing. Now, more than 18000 degree candidates, including undergraduates and students in 10 principal academic units are spending their life in Harvard, with over 14000 people working at Harvard.

     The reputation of Harvard, its facilities, its professors and its students can be considered as being the best in the world. If you look down on those old teach-buildings, you are making a big mistake. However old they are, the new students live in them. In Harvard, you could feel the vigor of young people filling the campus. The fact is that seven presidents of the United States once lived in these old-looked buildings. And Harvard also produced more than 40 Nobel laureates.

     In a word, Harvard University is an ideal place for your further study, where your dream will come true, and where you will make friends with truth, just as the motto of Harvard says “Let Plato be your friend, and Aristotle, but more let your friend be truth”.
